The SVDB membership meetings are held the first Thursday of every
month at 7:30 P.M. Meetings may include general business
items, membership Show and Tell, coin raffle, guest speaker and
other exhibits. See recent events on the

Other SVDB club activities include three club sponsored
Day-in-the-Park hunts each
month, a Club Annual Hunt,
occasional Metal Detecting Clinics for new members, and Beach or
Prospecting trips. See our

SVDB Membership dues are $30.00 per year for a Single Membership or
$40.00 per year for a Family Membership. Click for

SVDB Club Newsletter is mailed monthly to those
members who do not have an email address: click "Newsletter" icon at
right.
SVDB Club Library is full of
research material, i.e. videos, maps, books and magazines. We
provide a listing of
National organizations,
Treasure News
links, and
Links to other metal
detecting sites.
SVDB has a Volunteer Staff for
assisting the pubic in locating lost personal items and to provide
assistance to law enforcement for evidence searches. Club Contact:

SVDB Coin Raffle is held each club meeting with approximately 30
items valued $450. Members can buy/sell items on our
Classifieds
page.

Most metal detecting in our group hunts is for coins, jewelry, relics, and artifacts. Some members will also hunt for gold and silver (prospecting), and some are interested in beach and water detecting.
