Club Annual Hunt
Our premiere annual event is the Annual Club Hunt, with thousands of dollars in prizes.The Annual Club Hunt this year was May 8 at the Alta Mesa Gun Club. The Alta Mesa Gun Club is located in Wilton, California, just east of Elk Grove. See the map below.
By all accounts, this year's event was a smashing success, thanks to the many organizers and volunteers. We all appreciate your contributions.
Members were thankful for the executive decisions to spread the wealth with the prizes; having multiple moderate sized prizes in place of a huge grand prize. There were 6,000 planted coins, three 1/10 ounce gold coins, 2 Garrett Pro-Pointer probes, 3 Lesche diggers, and 250 silver coins given away as token winnings.
Pot Luck
The pot luck lunch was fantastic, and a
tip-'o-the-hat goes to the generous people who were so thoughtful.
We had plenty to go 'round this year.
